I am Ignacio Barutta and since 2004 I have been supporting companies in the Climate Change Arena. Today, I am focused on empowering businesses towards a low-carbon economy through LEAF. As CEO and co-founder of LEAF Sustainable Innovation since June 2018, my work focuses on providing robust, transparent and simple solutions to support businesses of any type or size in mitigating climate change.

Ecuador Carbon Forum
At the Ecuador Carbon Forum, the importance of accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy was discussed, emphasising practice over perfection. LEAF, as a climate technology company, seeks to empower companies in their decarbonisation strategy through its SaaS solution. The need to continuously improve without seeking theoretical accuracy, which can delay decision-making and implementation of climate change actions, was highlighted. The visit to Ecuador was rewarding, highlighting the local commitment to global temperature stabilisation goals.

Argentina Carbon Forum
My participation in the Argentina Carbon Forum was a very rewarding experience. I am grateful to Eduardo Piquero and Alejandra Camara for their invitation and the excellent organisation of the event. It was an intense two days, where I enjoyed sharing and learning with the speakers and attendees, all focused on climate change mitigation.
