At Arrebeef we decided to take a key step in our journey toward stronger and more transparent environmental management: measuring our corporate Carbon Footprint for the first time for the year 2023, under the international ISO 14064 standard.

The process began with the comprehensive collection and systematization of data through LEAF, considering both direct and indirect emissions:

  • Electricity consumption
  • Inputs
  • Transport
  • Products and services used by the organization

The platform enabled us to organize information, structure the inventory, and work with a methodological approach aligned with international standards.

We then moved forward with an independent external verification carried out by IRAM – the Argentine Institute of Standardization and Certification, which certified the technical quality of the inventory in accordance with ISO 14064-1:2018 requirements. In Argentina, only around 40 companies reach this level of measurement and verification, making this achievement a significant milestone for our organization.

The result of our inventory was 47,432 tCO₂e, a value consistent with a large-scale industrial operation like ours. Based on this solid and verified foundation, we now have reliable information to deepen our reduction goals and continue improving our environmental performance as part of our 2023–2027 Sustainability Plan.

Measuring, understanding, and reporting allows us to make more strategic decisions and move toward a more responsible, efficient, and sustainable industry.
